The scheme will create nine residential units along with office and retail space on the ground floor, while carefully balancing modern functionality with the preservation of the building’s historic façade, restoring the former bank to its original grandeur.
A key challenge was developing a comprehensive fire safety strategy while maintaining the integrity of the original structure.
During the final stages of construction, approval was granted for a tenth residential unit on the ground floor, which was completed in May 2022, alongside preparations for the new unit’s construction.
