Awaiting Decision

Situated on a prominent corner site in Temple Fortune, UPP developed a proposal to demolish the existing house to provide an enlarged family home of a contemporary feel.

A basement level is incorporated making best use of the change in levels on the site and maximising floorspace for the new dwelling. Integration of large windows and rooflights ensures bright and airy living spaces are provided with double height voids allowing for natural light to flood the basement level.

The three levels of the property are carefully articulated through a mixed palette of traditional and contemporary materials. The roof and first floor level nod to the local area through the use of clay tiles and matching redbrick façades. Utilising a textured grey brick mixed with white stone clad at the entrance, the ground floor brings in a more modern and lighter feel to the property.

The proposals were submitted for planning mid-2022 and is awaiting a decision.
